What Types of Bets Can You Make on a UFC Fight?

You can make six core bet types on a UFC fight: moneyline, round total (over/under), method of victory, round betting, parlays, and futures. Each targets a different part of the action. I'll break them all down here.
What is a moneyline bet in UFC?

What is an over/under (round total) bet?
The sportsbook sets a round line — say, 2.5 or 3.5 rounds. You bet whether the fight ends before (Under) or after (Over) that point. A five-round main event set at 3.5 rounds means the Under cashes if someone finishes in rounds 1–3.
What is method of victory?
You pick a fighter and how they win: KO/TKO/DQ, submission, or decision. It pays more than a straight moneyline because you're being more specific. Find it in the props or MMA section of your sportsbook.
Can I bet on which round the fight ends?
Yes. Round betting lets you wager on the exact round a finish happens. The odds are higher because the margin for error is smaller. Not every book offers it for every event, so check availability ahead of fight night.
How do UFC parlays work?
A parlay chains multiple picks into one bet. Every leg must win or the whole ticket loses. The payout multiplies with each leg added — but so does the risk. I keep my parlays short (two or three legs) for that reason.
What are UFC futures bets?
Futures let you bet on long-term outcomes, like who wins a divisional championship. They sit open for weeks or months. All major books post futures for each UFC weight class.
Are there other prop bets available?
Yes — "goes the distance," "fight to end inside the distance," and fighter-specific stats can appear in the props menu. Availability varies by sportsbook and event size. Props for a numbered card main event usually open in the week before the fight.
